Fear (Fovos) is something we learn to avoid and not express, yet it exists within us, even if only momentarily. The fear of truly experiencing our own emotions can run so deep that it spills outward in ways we cannot control, distancing us from ourselves. We fear the gaze, the thoughts, and the actions of others, the moment our vulnerability shows. In trying to fit in, we sacrifice pieces of ourselves and deny the freedom of our emotions.Fear, like all emotions, always finds ways to surface, to emerge, leaving its traces behind.
